Featured on this map is Thomas Driffill, a blacksmith and shop owner who became the first Reeve of Bradford in 1858.

The settlement was named after Bradford, England, as many of the pioneers, including Driffill came from areas new the Yorkshire town.

Also featured on the map is Dr. George D. Morton a Irish-born Organgeman who built a well respected medical practice in Bradford. He also held a number of high ranking positions in Bradford including reeve, High School trustee, member of the Simcoe County Council, and county coroner.
